220,000 travelers departing from Zaventem Brussels airport

DZIQ 990 AMZaventem Brussels Airport in Belgium will be dealing with 220,000 passengers for the Easter holidays or 6 percent increase than last year. The airport therefore warns travelers to be on time. Airport’s busiest or peak hours are between 7 and 10 am and between 4 and 7 pm. Those who takes a European flight, the best is 2 hours before departure and for an intercontinental flight, three hours earlier.

Easter holiday retreat is already underway before the Easter weekend. On April 1, the airport already receives 32,000 passengers departing on the floor. That rises to 41,000 on Friday and 40,000 on Sunday. In total, from Wednesday to Monday, 220,000 travelers are departing from Zaventem. The top destinations in the major airlines at Brussels Airport are Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt.
