UK divorced EU

It is now final. United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union after 43 years of membership. 52% voted to leave and 48% voted to remain. Leave won by a margin of 1,269,501 votes.  Referendum turn out recorded at 71%, considered the highest turn out at a UK election since 1992. Prime Minister David Cameron told Queen Elizabeth he will resign in October. Just few hours after the result, the pound plunges and fell to lowest level since 1985. The divorce between UK and EU shocked the world with mixed feelings of emotions – anger, fear and insecurity but happiness, contentment and freedom for the Brexiters.
